Evening all,

Just a curious question here. Why is air suspension a requirement? Didn't think suspension and headlights had much relation!

If you fit the xenons ...they will flicker a couple of times when they first come on .
Most people dont worry about this ..but this can be stopped by adjusting the car config file to tell it it has xenons G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

I did both the dead 2005 disco before
and the 2007 D3 i have now
the flicker is only for a few moments on startup
its a simple plug n play job, the video i did on the a-bar fitting shows how to removed the headlight, its no oscar winning movie, but gets the info across Nine-tenths of wisdom is being wise in time.
Also appears 9/10 of stopping is stopping in time

Ref the flicker on a retro fit - does anybody know how you'd get on with a headlamp flash, such as when giving way to someone?

They will work fine, I wouldnt worry about any flicker on startup. Mines no more noticable than my previous Ford Focus or the Volvos we have at work which all come with factory fitted xenons.
I fitted xenons to my D3 in March (Ebay bargain at £200) work great, I'd get some and not worry about any flicker.
