Firstly hello, I picked up my new Disco3 on Wednesday from the dealer, what a fantastic vehicle!!!
So today I am driving back from Gatwick Airport on the M25 in the usual crawl and too my surprise those new police that aren;t really police, something like CHiPs for the M25 were dealing with a car accident in the opposite cariageway and guess what the shiney new vehicle they were driving with those flashy amber lights on board were non other than a Disco3.
Driving a little further along and on my side of the motorway is an accident involving 4 cars. And the police were in attendance at this one, their vehicle at a superb night rider esque display on the back flashing back and forward with a red and blue colour side by side. Nice and high up on the back window a shiny new Disco3.
Driving a little further on and the amber light for the parking brake comes on. A quick call to my dealer and I drove it into the dealership where they looked at in there and then and identified it as water ingress in the block in the nearside wheel arch. The mechanic seemed pretty sure about it so it is now booked in for next Wednesday to be fixed.
Anyway thanks to you all for sharing your fun, thoughts, frustrations and lessons for others.
