Hi, I have recently purchased a new key fob from fleabay (brand new and not programmed) and a blade from keys in the post, how is the key blade attached / removed from the key fob please? Thanks 2011 Discovery 4 HSE

Open the key half way and you'll see a small hole on the wide section at the base of the blade, hidden when fully open. Get a small nail punch/picture pin/bent paper clip or similar thin but strong implement & push through the metal pin in the hole. You can now pull the blade out of the slot in the base, as it is secured by the pin lying in a groove across the blade.
Warning- do this carefully over a table so that you don't lose the pin. If you're careful, you can leave the pin projecting from the base, yet remove the blade. Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana
