Two suggestions would be The Scottish Off Road Club - www.sorc.org.uk or The Scottish Land Rover Owners Club - www.slroc.co.uk.
Both clubs run events at least once a month. SORC tend to concentrate their events around Central Scotland while SLROC cover a wider area.

John,
Some of the D3 chaps go out to play informally when we can get enough people together. Just keep a lookout on the forum for the place name "Drumclog".
If by "road tyres" you mean Scorpion Zeros, the answer is "yes" - although many people do replace them with something more grippy as they wear out.. A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

Yup, there will be a fairly tame non damaging track laid out along with lots of other RTV stages when you want to try a bit more. I was on ATRs at Bathgate and only got stuck twice but lots of friendly people around to tow you out.
May be an idea to make sure your towing eye at the front is accessible before youi get there.
Drumclog is good fun as well, just off the A71 Kilmarnock/Strathaven road, plenty of photos on here in other threads to see. Joined the BMWX5 45e group
