Folks
My old mans clearing his garage out (novel idea that a car might actually go in it!), and he has:
An industral arc welder, old, with bolt on cable connections for the amperage selection down the side, inc leads/mask.
A large trolley jack, about a meter long (looks like something you'd find in a tyre dealer, not one of these mickey mouse items from Halfrauds). I think it says 3 ton, but looking at the ram part it could be 30ton. Decent lift height.
A compressor with tank, not one of thes little compact types, but frame mounted with much use of angle iron.
Welder was working, and no reason to beleive it still wouldn't, as its just been sitting there. trolley jack also a good 'un, dont know about the compressor.
He's talking about dumping them, but if you can collect from Rowley (west mids, near J2 M5), a small contribution to his beer fund wouldn't go amiss.
It seems a shame to dump, and I cant get any more stuff in my garage.

Would your father be around in the day / late afternoon by arrangement? I would be interested in making a dib on the jack (would then ask my dear father to spin by and fetch it!)? Thanks
