want go to Praha for a couple of days this holiday would you recommend some "cheap" with parking for the beast close to city centre for 6? any suggestions would be appreciated

when you say this holiday, what dates are you looking at?
I'll have to ask SWMBO as she's Czech and will know better than me or who better to ask!!
Public transport is always good unless somebody commits suicide but its not the season for that yet !!!!
so if your looking at parking I guess your driving, if so just be aware of road works in Germany (added 4-5hrs to our return from UK two weeks ago, although didnt help SWMBO turning GPS off while I slept  ). Experience is a difficult teacher, because she gives the test first and then the lesson afterwards!!!!

No the A2 works was easy, it was further down A3 / A6 some place near Nurnberg; the issue was mainly the time of day as the volume of traffic was very high.
Best travel over night to get thru most the works before morning traffic
at one point we managed 2km in 3hrs......... (must learn to use the TomTom features to skip problem areas...LOL) Experience is a difficult teacher, because she gives the test first and then the lesson afterwards!!!!

I have seen no issues on my chav nav on A4 so might take the same way we took last year but still 3 weeks to go so might risk blasting along A2 which is quicker but not as scenic thank you

Or even theft/break ins; I have just spoke to SWMBO as I'm on Night shift for weekend and she's away visiting relatives.
she will check and update me Sunday especially in regards to car parking/safety and as I wrote the public transport here IS very good so getting around centrum is easy.. Experience is a difficult teacher, because she gives the test first and then the lesson afterwards!!!!
