WTD - Ambleside (or area) Fishmonger
Not sure it's member to Member services, but I'm after a local fishmonger as close to Ambleside as possible.
I've found loads of fish & chip shops I can see on line, but I'm after somewhere to get some proper fish from local to Ambleside.
About 26 whole Mackerel!
If anyone in the area has knowledge of such a place, then I'd be extremely grateful. It's for Scouts survival challenge
They've done rabbit a few times now, so it's on to fish!

Was in Ambleside last night and bumped into Rory Mcgarth filming the 'The Lakes 2'!
Anyway, best fish shop is in Kendal on Stramongate if you google it about 10 mile from Ambleside. (Tel: 01539 729888)
We have ordered very large fish from them and always top quality. SOLD - 23my Range Rover Sport D300 Dynamic SE

There's a Morrisons nearby? I found the Tesco which is delivering to the site but they aren't the most communicative in understanding the requirements Bodsys Brake Bible

Thanks NP
L Geddes Web info left a lot to be desired when I found him earlier, Kendal fisheries also was a good option, but it seems that Booths have it this time.
They called me back and couldn't have been more helpful. They'll do a demo on the day and have them fresh in that morning for us. Good price as well

Ah - changed days! In my time they had to catch the fish as well, using an improvised hook and line to boot. Survival is oh so much easier since Tesco started deliveries. A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.
