Hi , just got our new to us discovery 3 and now need to find the best boot protector so our two ever moulting muddy dalmatian dogs can ride in the back.
we ve seen the rubber boot mats with and without edges and also a washable custom made cover that covers the sides, bottom, back of seats, and the tailgate - all on e bay.

Have a hatchbag in my scoob wagon - it's been great.
Went for a dogbag in the disco ~ there is another (choccie) lab in the picture below. Keeps all the hair and dirt inside, and folds up into a (supplied) rucksack in about 1 minute to allow you to use all 7 seats (when the dugs are not in the car ).

car-breaker, I can sympathise with you. We had a Dalmatian for 13 years that molted at least one dog a day. The carpets were a nightmare to get his hairs out of and it got everywhere, even my workboots that I never took home were full of it. Your a braver man than me having two Faultmate MSV2 EXTREME

You could go for one of these or similar, though not exactly the cheapest option,

If you are exceedingly posh like me, then these guys are the answer for boot liners and car seat covers:

yes do like the hatchbag. we currently have a land rover dog guard fitted which has been modified on the bottom half so that the extra seats can still be used with the guard in place.does any one know how easy it is to use the the extra seats with the hatchbag in place would it all have to be removed or just some? presuming its in sections

Hatchbag
Yes it would all have to be removed , easy though as it's all velcro'd , so only takes a minute .But talk to Hatchbag direct as they're a decent bunch and I'm sure they could modify to your needs for a few quid extra ,eg putting a split down the middle and stitching in some extra velcro.Mention the site as they've received a lot of business from the forum.Have a read back through the Group Buy section here as there was one done a year or two ago which had pics and questions answered.
