Has anybody any experience with this product, if you look at the wind tunnel test it makes you wonder why you would buy anything else

Perhaps the profile doesn't lend itself to accepting third party fittings?

I have bought a set of these along with a Thule Spirit820 roofbox from roofbox.co.uk.
They look great on the car and indeed I still havn't taken them off.
I had a little whistle when I first fitted them but discovered that a bit of tape underneath the bar to cover some slots that get expose d when extending to fit the Disco's width sorted that out. On re-fitting them for the 2nd time no whistle was present so I assum I had them on at a skew first time round.
I would recommend spending the extra. MY09 HSE, Stornoway Grey / Alpaca, Sidesteps, Privacy Glass.

Got a set as well. Never bother taking them off. No issue fitting my Thule box to them.

Does leaving them on not prevent you using the majority of multi-story car parks?
Can't get in the works car park with mine - so they are a temp fixture.
