Thule Roof Rack foot pack adapter
Hi All,
Have read lots of forum posts but am still confused. I have the D3 without roof rails and so assumed I have the t-track system but the Thule package meant to fit that (a 3027 fixing kit and 753 footpack) doesn't seem to match what I have. This is a picture of the groove in the roof with the plastic strips removed. Is this really the T-Track system or something else ?
The T-track fixing kit seems to suggest a metal plate with a perpandicular bolt rising out of it should slide along a groove in the t-track held in place by a lip. But I don't have that lip and have tabs placed at regular intervals in the groove that look like a foot pack shoud clip over as if it was a gutter.
Can anyone please help ???

No, you're missing the t-tracks - the flat plate slots in them

As per Martin - you need the rails which run along the length of the roof and bolt onto it.
The t-track mounts slide into these rails and up into the foot pack.
