 i suppose I should know this...but...
At the point of switching on the ignition, I get the word "OIL" and then "2900"... Normally I would take that to mean my next service is due and in 2,900km time.
However, my last service is not due for another 14,000km (or November - whichever is sooner). And the "2900" hasn't gone from "3000" in the last 100km so it doesn't seem to be the countdown.
I was wondering if the dealer didn't reset the service counter - but I would have seen the message ages ago. I'm a bit stumped for ideas.
(Only other thing I have at the moment is having the "DPF Full" message for about a week - I haven't been succesful in running a full the regeneration procedure...so maybe the car is telling me I have 2900km left before it gets totally constipated with diesel particulates...) The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Club "yes, I too once had the car at the dealer for a couple of weeks nearly 4 weeks over 4 weeks...5 weeks"
Club "yes, I too have had EPB failure..."
Club "yes, I too get mysterious bings and bongs..."

no one...  I can't believe that no one has a comment (a constructive one - before DSL pops up...   ) The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...
