Odd spec. HSE.
A friend of mine has just sold his 54 plate SE & bought a 58 plate HSE. It has the usual HSE extras plus TV tuner, but NO rear air con. or centre console fridge.
Is that correct for a 58 plate, I always thought that rear a/c and fridge was standard HSE spec. for all but the earliest models?

On Disco 4 now fridge is a cost option and rear air con no longer available on UK market. Not sure at what point this 'decontenting' took place.

I think both were an option to start with by 2006 they were standard and then at some point around the end of 2006 early 2007 they became an option againPot Noodle Challenge Winner 2011

I had the fridge in 2006 D3 HSE and never used it once. I appreciate the far bigger cubby hole without it now.

Rear aircon is fab for the dogs and the fridge is good for keeping those ice pack things chilled for picnics...

Thanks for the replies. Looks as if "06 was the year for the most generously specced HSE.
Have to admit I don't often use the fridge, not sure I'd miss it much. The rear a/c is brilliant when you do need it though, particularly when it's as hot as it's been today.
i managed to get a an 08 hse ,and didnt realise till i got to see it ,tha,t mine now ,has fridge, rear air con ,premium leather ,and grand black piano inserts ,imagine my amazement when i opened the door to see that must have been a dealer speced model when i was looking i was just looking for standard hse.how lucky do i feel 2008 ,hse, it does what it says .

I had a late '05 car that had PTI, rear air con and a fridge as standard
