Disco 4 - what is between 2nd and 3rd sunroofs on headlining
I was watching a promo vid from Land Rover on the LR4 in the USA (disco 4 I wish it were called) and in an interior shot there is a console or something on the headlining over the 2nd row seats, between the 2nd and 3rd row sunroofs.
What is this ? The vehicle did have RSE on the front seatbacks, unsure if its related. I didnt notice this overhead panel / console on vehicles at our Nashville dealer in past few months.

Hi nashvegas, these are the rear air-con controls. There's a bit of confusion as to when these are fitted or not, but I'm sure someone will soon clarify on this.

You mean between the 1st and 2nd sunroofs? Yep, that's HVAC control. 3 rotary dials. Temperature, fan speed and air distribution control for the two roof mounted vents for the 2nd row passengers and 2 side vents on C pillars for the 3rd row passengers. This console also includes dome light too.
And rear A/C comes with all 7 seat LR4 in USA.TJ

Further question and a pic
I meant between 2nd and third sunroofs... see this image.
Hmm. I cant figure out what this is to save my life ! Right above the center seat in the 2nd row there, the pic is small but it was best I could find ! So from the Disco 3 to Disco 4 did they then move the rear air controls back a row? In Disco 3's, they're of course between 1st and 2nd rows.

I do see something there in the picture but looks to me that's something that's not offered in US model or only found on prototype etc.
My LR4 is fully loaded HSE Lux Plus model and I don't have anything like that. A/C control is located between and 1st and 2nd as LR3.TJ
