Air con temp sensor wiring
Hi i need to pick your brains, thought i would get my air con serviced today, all went well until we run it up at the end .The problem is when running the air con the high pressure side raises in pressure, which is good but when it reaches around the 15 mark on the gauge the fan should cut in,but its not,i take it this is what the electrical side of the viscous fan is for.So the sensor on the high pressure pipe on the right of the engine bay is that the temp one to switch the fan on, if so can this be linked out to turn the fan on to make sure that side of the circuit is working ok or what voltage i should be seeing on the 3 wires.

I've done some more research and it sounds highly likely that there is something in the system that will cause the fan to operate to force air through the condensor if the refrigerant gets too hot. However, I don't know enough about the system to say what that might be Now an ex-D3 owner after 7 happy years. Miss the car but not the big bills

-No worries i have ordered a new sensor which goes into the high pressure line, just need to know which wire controls the fan from that sensor, so looks like the multimeter's coming out again unless someone has a wiring diagram they would like to share with me.
