LOL Thumbs Up very good

The clock spring is the part that connects the steering wheel controls, airbag etc. to the rest of the vehicle - it has a cable that can swivel as the wheel is turned, and is kept under tension by a spring (hence the moniker). It mounts behind the steering wheel

You are a nosy parker, aren't you?

I bought a "heated steering wheel" type clock spring, so that I can install the RRS2010 steering wheel with the flappy paddles on my D3.

I think mine was the first Thumbs Up

I did it for the following reasons:

1) Because I can
2) Offroad -particularly sand and mud - when you need to grab another gear in a hurry
3) cos you haven't got it Smile
