Problems logging in today and yesterday.

I am having issues with the login. Since yesterday, my laptop has stopped logging me in automatically. I have cleared all cookies and browsing history, but its still not logging me in automatically. Also, the new posts list seem to be randomly disappearing.

Is anyone else having difficulties?, it could be a problem at my end, but I want to make sure first.

I'm in the USA, logging in via a satelite link and a server in Norway - no problems here.

I ve just removed the RSS feeds I was using and it seems to be ok now. I only set it up the other day so that probably is the cause.

Like you Gareth, I am having this problem although for some weeks now. I was using RSS feeds on another computer (rather than signing in) but have stopped this some weeks ago and the problems remain.
I too have cleared all cookies to no avail.
I randomly get one or more of :
1. Computer forgets I have "signed in until I sign out" checked and I have to re-sign in.
2. Rarely, computer has lost my remembered password (weird one; not sure this is/can be forum side although it only happens on this forum), and I have to re-sign in.
3. After signing in (or if its remembered I'm permanently signed in) I get a random number of new posts; sometimes I get 12 hours worth (24 since last login) often I get less and just the once I got "No topics or posts met your search criteria". Have you seen how many NoDo$h/Bodsy posts there have been recently? This is not likely! Laughing
4. Sometimes I get all the posts I was expecting instead.

Obviously for the above I'm not including days when I've logged into the forum via my N95 when out and about, 'cos that'd be silly as that is working as designed Wink

One day when I can be a Censored d I'll ask if Martin can make the "posts in the last x hours" links available on the search results page so I can save myself a click and a scroll to get there. But then again maybe that laziness and dodging of a couple of key presses is why I became a pillow smuggler Very Happy

But in spite of all this, and just like with the D3, I'm happy to put up with the niggles as the rewards are so much greater Thumbs Up Where's that Donate link...
