Leaking pollen filter

Has anyone else experienced problems with a leaking pollen filter on a D3?

Refer to the following post for more information: http://disco3.co.uk/forum/topic39056.html

In short, when it rains I end up with water in the passenger footwell. I have checked the sunroof drain pipes and they appear to be operating correctly.

I have removed the trim at the base of the windscreen to expose the pollen filter input duct. My D3 is as per the pictures in the post referenced above. I think the rain water is dripping into the pollen filter duct.

The key question is, does any one know if there should be some additional part that fits onto the metal ducting? It seems odd that water can drip into this area.

Any advice would be appreciated.
