I often wonder whether this sort of stuff is warranty replaced stuff that slips out the back door of the dealer.

And the sole bidder looks to be a forum member. Seems a crying shame that having paid so much for satnav, people need to spend so much on updates. LR ought to ask a sum to cover media and distribution, such as £20. I know the economics are different to my being able to buy a copy of '<insert>' for £15, but perhaps the data pixies might send him a copy and save him £150+....?

It's still €100 cheaper than from a dealer here actually. Not going above the £150 mark though - not worth it if so, as it's '500014' I'm really waiting on.

Well it's a shame I don't have SatNav, otherwise a copy of #13 would be winging it's way to Co. Wexford, courtesy of the data piskies...

I believe at least one member has backed up his valuable DVD.

After all, if you check the warranty on the player, it would undoubtedly exclude all consequential loss, so it'd be an insurance claim.

I would urge everybody to back up their disc if they can.

I have just been through the problem with my Audi Satnav, where even the disc that was only ever stored inside the player itself became so badly scratched it wouldn't work. I have just been hunting around for a copy disc so I could sell the car with working satnav.
