Has anyone purchased one of these? if so, what makes them worth the £400+ LR are asking for it? I see almost indentical day-tents for sale at £99 or less, and they have a groundsheet and more room. An eight-man tent with gazebo and porch is about £250. Am I the only person who thinks that LR are taking the right roal p*** in asking that sort of money?
BTW, the LR fridge/coolbag is very good but the inverter (for running it off the mains) is about £25 from any marine shop and LR want £150

I ordered one with the car. Unortunately I broke one of the poles the first time I set it up. The tent was replaced with a new one without question by the dealer.
It is basically a customised Kyham day tent. What you pay for is the customisation (fitting LR rails plus overall dimensions) that will always be expensive for something with a low overall sales projection.
I got the new one up without breaking it!
