A new Disco in the Colonies |
|
Its finally arrived! Picked her up on Thursday......
Couldn't find enough excuses to go for a drive
Unfortunately she went into the workshop on Friday ....a bit of a glitch/gremlin (whilst driving, the doors would try to unlock, then the hazards would start flashing all by themselves followed by the internal lights coming on ).
But the dealer got on to it immediately and sorted me out with a loaner....so hopefully get mine back on Monday.
Took the family up to the Blue Mountains (west of Sydney) on Saturday in the loaner.....WHAT A BRILLIANT MOTOR VEHICLE!!! ...fingers crossed for Monday! '11 TDV6 - Stornoway Grey.... still lovin' it!!

Couldn't find enough excuses to go for a drive well you need to see if there is any more gremlins, or you just bought a new car and need to familiarise yourself with it. then again why do you need an excuse at all, enjoy your new toy (you lucky bas )

Thanks 'Obi-wan'(ALR) and Jamo.
Got a call this afternoon from the workshop........she's ready for pick-up tomorrow morning
Apparently the problem was a loose cable connector.
Only one thing to do now........hit those bush tracks. '11 TDV6 - Stornoway Grey.... still lovin' it!!

I really feel for U guys in the former colonies. For mine, walked into a dealer in the UK, haggled down to the price I was after (lowest broker price from net) & picked car up 2 weeks later! When got wife's, the "ideal spec" was already there in the compound so picked it up 3 days later. Living in the UK has a few perks, that must be the best.
