I'm sure I can get them for less than that fitted. Watch this space!!! In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

OK Ken I just didn’t want you paying a fortune for them when we can get them for less. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Would your contact at Black Circles know if they are also DOT (Dept. of Transportation, the US regulatory authority) approved now? The previous "version" was not, one of the reasons why it was virtually impossible, and illegal, to get them here in the United States. Usually, the DOT certification is stamped right on the sidewall, even though the tires are manufactured abroad. Umberto B

The old ones were DOT certified. I sold a set to one of my custromers a year or so back. This is what led me to make a pile of calls to Goodyear asking why they are not available U.S., They at first seemed interested, as a DOT certification is very expensive and they already had it, stamped right on the tire, but as time wore on, I guess they thought I was a nuisance as the kept brushing me off. I hope they get off of their asses, that is one great tyre!
BTW, I believe Land Rover Dallas carries them here on the state side. Try to get a hold of Zach there.

Goodyear will make them available in late August in the States. Not yet on their website but have apparently made it known to some LR3 owners that have persistently inquired. So, will wait & see... 2005 LR3 HSE
