Anyone going to the Land Rover 'show' weekend at the Heritage Centre at Gaydon in two weeks time?

I'm on the cavalcade run from the factory on Sunday morning, and will be about there until mid-afternoon on Sunday..
Would be good to get a DISCO3.CO.UK mini-meet up if people are about

Hi Martin
I will be there , I am driving the first Discovery built in the run. If you fancy a meet up I will be on the Discovery Owners Club stand most of the day but I am sure I could escape for a meet or you can come to the stand. Can you bring me a site sticker as well please external in silver.

er well lets say that from friday all being well and dealer delivery times withstanding we will have a buckingham blue TDV6 S auto sitting on our drive and also on the DOC stand on Saturday.

LOL one thing I have learnt in my short time of Discovery ownership is no one who owns "real Land Rovers" likes them, but as I always say Land Rover would be long gone and finished by now if the Discovery hadnt come around in 1989. So long live the Discovery and Long live Land Rover.
And as for the LRO lot

I wan't intending to go but as it looks like I'll be picking my Disco up on Saturday (a month ahead of schedule) I may make it it's inaugral run

well good old Land Rover dealers as off last night the Discovery couldnt be delivered till next week sometime but from a phone call this morning it may be here tonight and realeased to me tomorrow.
When we ordered it it was at Solihull awaiting transfer, but it was allocatted to another dealer as a showroom car. That dealer got it first and they are in Aberdeen, so now it has to come all the way back to Gaydon where it is now so that our dealer in Solihul can collect it this afternoon and PDI it then i can take it back to Gaydon for the show
