Central locking problems

Hi, I have a Disco 4 2012 and I cannot open the passenger rear door from the outside. It opens fine from the inside of the vehicle.I here that you can clear this fault by using the interior door locking/unlocking switch which is on the drivers door and the interior rear passenger handle, what is the sequence to do this?
Hope someone can help me.

More likely that it needs a new door latch mechanism. Thumbs Up

Never heard of clearing the fault using the switch on the driver's door and interior rear passenger handle. Sounds like bunkum to me. Laughing

Mine hasn't done it since the fault code was cleared by the dealer......might be coincidence of course, as my car seems to like intermittent "peculiarities" but it's been fine for a while....

Hi have now cleared the fault on my central locking, you need 2 people, one to press interior unlock button and the second person to pull the interior door opener.Took 3 tries but rear passenger door now locks and opens as it should !!!!

Great, I just hope for your sake it continues to do so, I think you might be back shortly with a tale of woe. My advice is to change/repair the actuator motor while you can open the door as next time it may not open at all, it then becomes a real b Censored d to do and you may end up trashing the door card Thumbs Up
