Spot lamps
Hi Has anyone got the LR spot lamps mounted to there bumber (not to an A bar or Bush bar). I ask because i seem to have homed in on spotting D3's on the motorway, im like a bloodhound at this..one pass me on the opposite side of the M62 tonight with full lamp guards and the spot lamps and it looked pretty cool, shame it was only a glimse.
if you have can you pm me or post some pics

Wasn't me - but I've got the spots on the bumper (no headlight guards though) - I think they look good, especially on my Zambesi silver where, along with the side rubbing strips, the contrasting black breaks up the expanses of silver which can look a bit "flat" otherwise. Not get any pix on here at the moment, but if I get a chance this weekend will snap a couple for you

There is a problem with these lights even if they look good, it makes it difficult to remove the plastic grill at the front, which simply clicks out. Why move the grill, to clean the radiator of debris and also change the bulbs in the headlights should they go. Oh and to convert the lamps from left to right hand drive and visa versa with the little levers. It makes a 10 second job difficult and very costly if done by the dealer.

Simon, unclip the front panel with the LR logo on it and remove. Clips are on each side under the lower rail. Then swing out the headlights and you will find a lever (or should) behind each light unit to switch from left to right or visa versa. Then clip all back and replace grill. Done, better than sticky tape.
Simon probably doesn't have the levers, most likely went the same way as his settings menu

Sorry, took some pix as promised and then forgot to post them - a bit of a rush job, so sorry about the dead flies and the fact that the grills on them are at a bit of an angle!
