2010 Discovery 4 3.0 TDV6 HSE Manual Zermatt SilverDiscovery 4
D4 front disc thickness

Anyone know if the disc thickness is the same as the D3 -ie 30mm

Mine are getting quite a lip and I need to know if they are down to the 3mm wear limit to suggest replacing

Almost all the specifications are the same inc run-out limits pad thickness etc. They lowered some of the torque specs (inc disc torx screw, bleed screw etc) but most of us were doing that anyway for the D3 as some of the screw-it-down-so-it-never-comes-off-in-one-piece torques were barking mad.

I think they just sacked that bloke!

In all seriousness there is no need to put high torque on things like the rotor torx screw as it just makes life difficult later on.
