Aaaaaaah.
I knew this was a purchase I wouldn't regret. I absolutely love my D3. I've had it since Friday, and I've started thinking up some wonderful excuses to get out and about it it. Friends in Manchester I haven't seen for six months have had a visit, and my sister needs a lift from Chester to Newcastle on Thursday. Next week I'm going to Skye. All of it in the utmost luxury.
There was a point to this post, more than just eulogising on the greatness of my car, I wanted to know how many other people got surprise freebies on theirs. I think I'm doing very well, I spotted it had a coolbox (£230) that I hadn't asked for in the showroom, and the dealer told me to keep quiet about it. Since then, I've also spotted that I have front PDC (£265) and rear heated seats (£?) that I wasn't expecting.
It's just a shame that what I really wanted was a tow pack, the xenon headlamps and the enhanced nav... Oh well, I'll get that lot when the V8 diesel comes out. (in my dreams!)

Rear heated seats are standard. You were lucky with the other bits, though!

OK, so nothing for free at all then!
And there was me thinking that my Land Rover dealers didn't know their arses from their elbows...
Not that any of this can diminish my enjoyment of the beast. I'm seriously thinking of going out for a spin now.
