Talking of dogs, has anybody had a dog with elbow dysplasia. The lbrador we have currently was disagnosed with it on Tuesday. She is only 6 months old, so there is hope a operation will help.

The original 'Puppy in your pocket', there are no dogs allowed at my daughters school when picking them up, I felt guilty leaving it tied to a lamp post so managed to sneak it in using an inside pocket, and coughed when it squeeked Laughing

I have to be careful it doesn't clinmb through the grill of the dog guard Rolling with laughter

Our Youngest Bitch had a displaced Knee cap rear left leg, It's been a long job to fix this. Luckily we were insured as so far it has cost £2500 in operations etc, but finally now after 6 months we are winning and it looks likely she will recover. Though she will still have slightly limited mobility of the Joint.

The operation involved creating a groove in the bone for the tendons and pinning things in place etc so quite major. Must admit the Lab coped really well and didn't seem bothered at all. Unfortunately the first op didn't take and she had to have it re-done.

Shocked I never really looked at it that way, I will put my coat over the top of it this afternoon, thanks for alerting me, I wondered why people were looking at me strangely and the Co-op refused to let me in their store Rolling with laughter
