Mrs and me went to GS Knutsford on Wednesday to get ourselves a D4 HSE to replace our D3 HSE. We wandered around for about 15 mins, no interest from anyone. No nice glossy brochures either, fancied a change from Lugano Teal/Alpaca. Decided to approach the nice lady on reception who attempted to find somebody from sales. No luck, but have a coffee while she keeps trying. After about an hour on site, we need to get away to pick up the kids from school. We leave all our details (including those of our D3 that they supplied new) in the hope that somebody would contact us about a P/X. No phone calls.........
I was really up for ordering the new car, but have "gone cold" due to crap customer service. Does anyone know a LR dealer that actually appreciates people walking through their front door ready to order a 50K car?

I have always "NOT" gone Local.
Alwyays had good service from:
LAKELAND LR
RIPON LR
MATFORD LR

My father has had about 6 new Land Rovers from Lakeland and swears by Paul Smith the Sales Manager up there. I would think if you give Paul a ring he would really look after you.

You could also try Matt and James at Lookers Park Royal. They know what a customer is. My D4 here this week 8)

If you really don't want to go local, I can recommend speaking to Paul Fisher at County Land Rover, Barnstaple, Devon. I bought my D3 from him last year and he made it a pleasing experience (might have something to do with the ££££££££ I was giving him), rather than being made to feel unimportant as I often find when visiting other LR dealers. Most of this was done remotely as I live in Gloucestershire. Lloyd "Phat Face"
