I can only give praise for my dealer from the time I went for a test drive right up to date they have been excellent in all areas bar one, they only use freelanders or ford focus for courtesy cars and as I have a family of 6 they are no use at all. But the service other than that is superb.

I have had this argument with my dealer loads of times. Fair enough, for a service a courtesy car can be anything but for warranty issues where you can be without your vehicle from days to weeks, it should be replaced with the same model or better.
I had to cancel a weekend away because they gave me a Freelander. What was I suppose to do, leave one of the family at home. It was the main reason that we got a 7 seater, trips away.
Since then I have stuck to my guns and have insisted on a D3 everytime although it is restrictive because as loaners they seem to be a rare breed.

Land Rover Assistance should now be able to provide a large car replacement.
If they can't then hire one and claim the expenses back
