Hi guys and girls out there , i wonder if you can help me i have had my D3 nearly three months now and its fantastic. I do have a slight problem though,when im driving slowly up my bumpy road i feel a slight knocking in the steering wheel ,has anybody else experienced this

Probably ARB bushes. You can get a spacer for them or a newer modified ARB bush.
There's info on here to replace them. Search +ARB +spacer +replace
Could also be track rod ends or ball joints, but ARB is your first port of call Bodsys Brake Bible

Hi guys - I have the same problem - Wobble in the steering when driving on rough surfaces . Is this an expensive repair?

mine went in last thursday for the day and they cant find anythink wrong all bushes are ok but still have the knock

Lower steering column joint is another favourite, I've had a couple of those Pot Noodle Challenge Winner 2011

I replaced lower steering shaft arbs with upgraded ones and put two complete lower arms on. No knocks anymore. Arms are around 100 quid a side arbs are not dear. Lower steering done at dealers and paid about 300 fitted. Drives perfect now. Had all the same knocks as everyone described in this thread. Good luck Current: D3 commercial
Past: but not forgotten D3 HSE x2, 5 TD5 disco2's, 1 200tdi disco1, 2 300tdi disco1 one of which was a commercial, Off roader with a rather large spec, ARB's and big travel suspension to name a few.

Hay geoff took mine in this thursday to www.terrainvehicles.co.uk today and its the track rod ends they tell me so providing the can line them up with out a lazer £180 if not £250 .Its going in next wednesday will let you know the result
