Great feature, Martin.
Check out my location (zoom right in) on satellite or hybrid.... (No, I don't live in the park, but live very near it). I lived here for 15 years before google earth revealed what the sunken garden looked like from above! Disco 5 HSE Lux

If it is, it beat them by a fair few years! Don't know who or why.... Couldn't believe it when i saw the satellite pics. Must have been through it hundreds of times without suspecting a thing. Disco 5 HSE Lux

Have got a set of updates for the map (already!):
- Full Google maps data for Europe and Australia is now shown
- Vehicles shown on the map now have a better shadow
- The main map view shows the number of people on it
- The pop-up balloons now have more information in them
- The bug with Australian members not showing up unless you zoomed out has been fixed
- A link is available from the top of the show distance map to view the full member map.
- Map now uses the full Google maps zoom control
- Your location along side your posts is no longer a link to the map as you really should know where you are
- Some other small tweaks here and there which I've forgotten
People who add themselves to the map but who don't have a vehicle profile filled in are currently given a standard small green pushpin - any ideas on alternatives?
I'm thinking of renaming the map from "Member Map" to "D3 Map" or "D3 World" - comments?

What I find quite surprising is how evenly spread out around the country this particular 'Flange' is.
Is does show that disco3.co.uk has considerable potential for growth.
I know 6 or 7 other D3s reasonably local to me that are not showingon the map, so will try to put the word around... now where was that flyer document? NOW SOLD: 2006 TDV6 SE Auto Zermatt silver with Alpaca Leather

"Marauder's Map" {with apologies to JK Rowling}
That's a good one !
Besides, if I am not too mistaken a Rover in English is nearly the same thing as a Marauder... In France, people looking for homeless sleeping in the streets call those patrols "Des Maraudes" which is a word with the same root, I guess, as your british Marauder... In a way, unless I am gravely mistaken, a Marauder and a Rover are not that far away. And as our DIII are from Land Rover...
I like it !
I think that I am going to listen to "Waltzing Matilda" by the Pogues, right now... just to keep being in that mood !
The more I think about it, the more I like THAT name... Great find ! Georgia On My Mind...
