19" RRS Wheels & Tyres

Spotted this ad on Alt.fan.landrover, nothing to do with me but thought someone here or on 'the other side' may be interested?

We have five sets of (four) brand new 19" R/Rover Sport wheels and tyres for sale, as a result of upgrade to 20", these are "off transporters " miles so all are as new as they can be, tyre size 255/50x19 Pirelli, cost of a set of four is £640.00 plus VAT, you would be very hard pushed to find the tyres
alone at this money, pick up only.

DSL, I have found the same thing too................... Last week wanted new wiper blades for my Defender, none the right size in Halfords, main dealer price of £9 each (even after discount) made me weep so thought I would try the non franchise specialist guy that services my 10 year old Def90 and does any repairs for me and bingo £3.50 each, still in the black bags and with the Land Rover parts number labels on them (plus a lot of dust!!)
Now a disillusioned new Land Rover buyer and have jumped ship to something less expensive and more reliable that hugs trees.... now driving a Mini Countryman PHEV as well as my trusty and brilliant 1996 Epsom Green Defender90 Tdi300
