| Automatic(Global) Window Closing Not Working |

I have discovered that my new D4 will not wind all it's windows up when I activate the global closing feature by holding the remote door lock button down for 3 secs. Spoke to dealer who checked with other D4's in stock and all were the same. We're now wondering whether this feature has been deleted on Australian-spec D4's perhaps because of some bizarre ADR requirement. Has any other Australian D4 owner come across this issue? 2005 D3 TdV6 HSE Buckingham Blue

I dont have the car with me at the moment so I cant test it. But I do recall trying the auto wind up through the remote and was surprised it did not do it. Goes down but not up

Even my D4 does not work ... but they say that with software upgrade everything works fine again ...
Today I brought the car from the dealer and then if you do want to know ....

Some vehicle left the factory without it being activated. It's included in the reassurance program here in the UK for the affected vehicles.

Mine used to close but not open, had assurance programe done and now you guessed it, they open but do not close  MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange
MY15 D4 HSE Kaikoura Stone

Seems to also have fixed the Cruise Control messages not coming up every time when first setting the speed.

Had my Disco 4 for three weeks, is this global closing feature to work on all models or just the top of the range HSE? mine dont work on the GS model.

Get stealers to check it's got the latest Assurance updates, that fixed it on mine. Not sure if it's spec specific.

will do. I have to go and see them anyway as a couple of issues need sorting out. The glove box doesnt fit or close properly and the plastic plate on top of rear bumper is loose. not very impressed with the overall build quality.
