droning noise, intermittent loss power steering
hi, some advice please
have noticed a droning noise, seemingly from the front, most noticeable between 40-50 mph, thought was a worn wheel bearing (car has 50k miles on it)
However today I seem to feel that the power stering seems to fade a bit at times, perhaps my imagination..!
anyone had this before?
Does this happen when stationary if you increase engine revs in neutral?I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Mine does the same and was diagnosed as front bearing..having it swapped Saturday. Not sure if the tech bloke was correct but he said diff noise is only noticeable on acceleration and not when coasting...
