I loved the MSR vs JetBoil video - I didn't know you filmed it! All good fun though.D3 HSE MY05 Auto

Al,
If you talk about the time from putting the pans on the flames to the time it took to boil then it was a draw. If you talk about time to set you stove up then I won that by a mile, with my MSR. However Neil was all new to his JetBoil. If you talk about the first person to get hot water for a drink then if you watch the clip, you'll see that I am drinking coffee - the wonders of a flask!
If you want to talk about the first person to boil water and make a drink then Gary won that! Neil and I were too busy measuring water etc. to ensure it was fair (he didn't want me to use the water from my flask!) so while we were doing that Gary got out his kettle on and got on with it.
It was all good fun though.D3 HSE MY05 Auto

I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Al,
There was only one loser, and that was you - for not being there! D3 HSE MY05 Auto

seems to me there would be 88xx 'losers' from not being there, this would put those who attended in the minority of site members and by default, automatically become 'losers' anyway, was this an 'official' Disco3 event (i.e no injuries to persons or vehicles, no fallouts or handbag swinging, no dissing other forum members and the correct amount of forum tax paid?)

It couldn't be an official event as the convicts were there, and as far as I know nobody fell out or got arsey with each other![/i]D3 HSE MY05 Auto

It might look cooler, but it is much cooler to eat fried bread, sausage, bacon rather than a rat pack![/i]D3 HSE MY05 Auto
