metallic "spring" sound from front wheels going ov |
|
After a few days mucking in the snow I noticed this morning a sort of metallic spring sound (like the sound of an elephant jumping on an old sofa) coming from the front-passenger wheel area. Only when going over bumps or ruts in the snow ?
It could be something frozen or gunged up with slush/ice. Any ideas ? Also Gone : MY14 D4 SDV6 HSE : Barolo Black + Almond
Sadly Gone : MY08 D3 TDV6 HSE : Stornoway + Alpaca + Privacy + BAS Remap

Was your steering on full lock at the time? if yes, it probably needs the steering stops greasing. They are on the bottom front wishbone.
