Any body know how to stop passenger seat at front of D3 06 from thinking someone is sat in it and keeps sounding off the buzzer.cheers Richo

sounds like a faulty microswitch in the seat - mine does this when I have a take away curry on the passenger seat. You can turn off the bongs and just have the red light on the dash though.
Ignition on (engine not running) - insert drivers seat belt and wait until light goes off. Release and wait for light to come back on. Repeat 9 times in under 60 seconds. Confirmation bong to tell you it's off. Same sequence to re-enable.

It might be worth checking the plug(s) under the seat are connected properly.

Sometimes they can become slightly loose and cause this problem. It's worth checking before going any further Thumbs Up

Get same issue if the Chinese is too heavy but I need the heated seat on.

Easiest fix is to have passenger belt connected. no bongs/lites that way.

Shocked
Dosn't the D3/D4 have a curry hook? I thought it was standard in every LR! Our old 98 Disco had one as does my 08 RRS and I know the FL1 and FL2 have them

Ah yes, the curry hook. But it's not a HEATED curry hook Very Happy The seat heating helps keep it warm. Shimples.

Hi,
I have a piece of plastic the same shape as the seat belt clip, for when i'm shooting, just clip that in
saves messing. I cut it from a piece of down spout, just draw round the seatbelt clip and cut it with
small saw drill hole to match and file till square 10mins, I have two for both front seats, had them
three years same ones no prob's. Thumbs Up

Ingenious, but why not just disable the buzzer?

Point taken, just means everything back to normal when you unclip it.
