No sound on Radio, CD SatNav or Voice recognition

Help : The most precious part of the car has gone faulty...!!

Everything appears to work IE display etc but no volume at all. The only other clue was that the CD player shows the CD and track but won't play ( stays on 0.00 ). Could this be just a fuse ? It you try and use Voice Rec it says that VR is not available....

Any help greatly received...

Hi Muppet,had this happen to me on two occassions,after switching on and off the ignition a couple of times the fault cleared itself.By coincidence on both occassions a brake light bulb had blown.Asked on the forum if this was coincidence or not without any joy but by all accounts brake light bulb failure seems to affect various systems. 2007 TDV6 XS Auto.

Clear LR repeaters
LR sidesteps

Disconnecting the battery can solve the problem aswell

Make sure the car goes to sleep before you disconnect though ( park brake light goes out ) G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

had this problem aswell battery was flat the car started fine
