If they are that great and revolutional then they would be selling themselves, not just trying so sell off the patent for €6000000.
Surely no one needs to be pull off that quickly in the snow?
Also these are relying on the tyre to be correctly inflated, ratcheting it onto a tyre that’s going to swell or shrink can't be good for the life of the tyre?

Maybe I am a sucker for advertising, but I think they look very good. I suspect fitting them it a BITA but probably no more so than snow chains. I like the fact that they fit any vehicle so can be transferred etc.
It does look like you can't actually by them though. Just buy the patent and then find someone to make them for you - might be expensive for just one set! D3 HSE MY05 Auto

I would dread to think what might happen to someone standing near by if one came flying off the tyre On a mission to find the perfect Pork Pie. Just Found it (I think)..(Yes I have)

Looking at it from the engineering and design side, I think they are very much in the early stage, there would need to have some testing done on them etc.
What happens if you smack a pot hole will they detach themselves as they are only locked together under tension.
What happens if the tyre deflates you could possibly end up with links flying off? At least with chain it’s all tied together to a certain extent, just thinking like the dragons here it’s a good idea but your working against a proven product in the field, where as you sold no products to date. I'm out

What I find interesting is the footage of the cars sliding into each other (3:14 and ~3.21) - I know it's off topic but why would you want to jump out of your safe car to slide along side out of control knowing there's another lump of metal right behind you, also out of control and unable to stop D3 HSE V8...

Got bored so looked at their website found this
It is advisable to set the length of the chain previously and keep it ready in the vehicle. Fitting the device in situ is very easy, the quickest method is to lift/jack the vehicle, position the open chain (previously adjusted for length) into the tyre groove and connect the two ends using the hand tool provided. An alternative method that avoids lifting/jacking the vehicle is to attach half the chain to the top of the wheel in the tyre groove and hold in place using straps provided. Move the vehicle forward half a wheel turn, connect the second half of the chain to one end of the first and securely close the chain using the hand tool provided. Attention must be paid to correctly locating the chain in the groove of the tyre and confirming it’s security. The firmness of the chain’s grip to the tyre can be tested by holding the closed chain and shaking it. If there is movement then a type 1 hook should be replaced with a type 2 hook. This can be repeated until the chain is securely seated in the tyre groove. Remove any retaining straps used and the chains are ready for use.
The anti skid device (“snow chain”) is constructed from a variable number of metallic plates and interlocking hooks to securely connect them around a tyre and form an “arrow” in the direction of travel. The plates are identical modules formed with raised elements to provide improved grip on snow and ice covered road surfaces. An incorporated Vulcolan strip impedes the hooks from disconnecting and facilitates easy assembly, fitting and removal of the snow chain. Hook type 1 are 40mm in length and when incorporated or exchanged with hook type 2 of length 35mm the snow chain fits all sizes of tyre currently available. The device only requires the tyre to be of a type that has a continuous groove around it’s circumference, either central or lateral, with a minimum width of 6mm and depth 3mm.
