Valve makes sense I guess, otherwise the bag would go pop, the engine would stall or the bung would come out if left to run 2014 D4 XS

I have the aforementioned Bushranger. It works. It lifts the D3 (4t rated) and is well built. 145 euro The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Neil, is currently banned! lol. Anyway he has got one and we tested it at a SE meet. It seemed ok and lifted a D3 although it wasn't in a muddy off road site, but Neil did try it in the middle of the car and it wouldnt lift both wheels at the same time. Seems like decent kit though especially for the money. I've just bought one.D3 HSE MY05 Auto

I bought a cheap chinese one. worked 3 times then started to fart. Now have a Bushranger XJack that allows inflation with a compressor (much more civilised). Good piece of kit for $200.There's one wheel on my wagon, but i'm still rollin' along, it's the cherokee, they're after me, but I'm singing a happy song

Use my Takla with a compressor, way easier & safer to use than exhaust hose & bung. Used it good few times offroading (incl twice in Tunisia), deffo the way to do it!

Well to give you an update, mine has arrived. Bag looks well made and tough, as does the hose. It comes with a spare hose valve, gloves, protective matts and a bag. The matts are pretty thin and not ideal. The bag (that it comes in) isn't the best quality but it is a decent size.
Regaridng the lifting in the car park, I don't think Neil fully inflated the bag and the specs are the same as the bush ranger air bag that a few members have and find good. Being sans CV joint at the moment I have not tried mine yet. I am not too bothered about being able to lift both wheels at the same time. As long as I can lift each wheel a decent amount then I'll be happy.
For £50 as long as it lifts high enough then I'll be happy. I'll let you know when I test.D3 HSE MY05 Auto
