LR Experience in D4
Having ordered a D4 (which is not due for delivery until March ) I have a LR Experience 3 hour session at the Chilterns/Milton Keynes location coming up, booked from a voucher from our dealer. I am new to 4x4 and Land Rover and want to focus those 3 hours on 1) Maximising my confidence in the car and secondly in knowing how/when to use Terrain Response, when to switch High/Low ratios, and using Hill Decent control etc...all new to me
Are the instructors normally pretty accommodating to provide a more tailored session for those that have already ordered their car or is it a standard session? If it is tailored, any thoughts on any other stuff that might be useful to cover??
Thanks!

From my experience (sic... ), they are usually pretty accommodating.
They'll certainly cover all the controls and abilities of the vehicle in a fair amount of detail.
Just have a chat with them before you set off.
Just be aware you'll probably end up with permagrin set to max......I see no ships........

Having now done it twice once in a D3 and the other in a D4 (no difference BTW), both about 18mths apart. Tailored to my needs on both occasions with my experience at the time. Very accommodating
Did my LR experience there last year. Tell them what you want and they'll be as accommodating as they can.

the wife and myself had a voucher from the dealer also we upgraded it to a full day i think it was less than £200. we went to Rockingham but i'm sure all the places are the same, when we arrived they asked what we wanted to do we where in the same position as you as never off-roaded in this country. They tailored the day to us perfectly we now have a real appreciation of the abilities of this this great car. It was defiantly worth the upgrade you end up doing basically the level 1 driving course. If it the same voucher you and your guests can drive, it's a great way to get the wife enjoying it we both really enjoyed it.
