Impressive G4 on the ice
Very very impressed with the G4 on the ice.
Towed a mini coach bus thing up a steepish hill covered in ice in Snow mode. Did it very very slowly, but the buzzing and jerking from all the electronic controls was really impressive.
Then towed a fully laiden van and trailer up another steeper hill in my area (I live right out in the country!)
And couldnt resist helping an old Shogun who couldnt make it up a hill and was headed for the ditch.
And then there was the winch - rescued several people from the ditches.
And that HDC - thats is also very impressive. Followed an old fiesta down a steep hill. Fiesta ended up in the hedge, I just let the car carry on by itself......
I was impressed with the off road ability, but it is surely more impressive in the snow and on ice?
I am totally in love with my G4. It does everything I ask of it and more. The only problem is I do too many miles in it!
They certainly come into their own in this weather, just about everytrip out has seen a recovery of some sort offered, only used the winch once though.Craig

Don't they use orange golf balls in the snow ? Aside from the colour they are the same as white golf balls you know 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
