I have taken them up on this offer. Pretty crackin deal to be honest, particularly if you have a car/D3 to trade in that will make up the bulk of the deposit.
For example, I had 20 to pay now, 16 in 24 months time. No interest in between so I can (hopefully) save up that money for when I need to pay LR then final installment. If in doot, flat oot!!
Great unless you do more than 12k miles a year, could work out expensive if you doThe End

It is a great deal. My D3 goes in for its fourth year service and MOT this month plus it needs tyres and front brake pads soon. Given that I would want a factory order this time to get two or three things on I wish I had got last time and to get some value out the spend the D3 is just about to get then I should probably wait a bit. Trouble is if VAT is 17.5% from January and then 20% (?) from June for a year or two then I may end up waiting until 2012 and the D4.5!
FWIW lots of prestige brands have strong orders at the moment from people wanting new cars this year before VAT goes up. Especially so as px bids are now so good after the debacle we had at the end of 2008.2014MY Discovery

This only applies if you hand it back - no part-x or anything. I would never see myself in that position. Either a part ex for a newer model (HSE perhaps) or I'd take out personal loan etc and repay the balance.
My deal is based on 10k mls a year... but I would think I would be doing more than that. Maybe not seeing as I have a motorbike as well.If in doot, flat oot!!

By taking this offer, do you still manage to get the price down to reasonable discounted level. What I mean by this is, if you look online at some of the brokers, you can get a disco 4 xs for about £36K. To get the LR offer, can you get anywhere near that orice? Thanks for the advice.
