| D4 Steering Wheel into D3 |
|
Well , my wheel has started showing the usual wear, so I need to get a new one. Can`t believe the price hike 6 months ago, wonder if LR knew something? anyway after seeing the new wheel design on the D4 was wondering whether the D4 wheel will fit a D3?. Anyone know ? Dunno about the D4 wheel, but the >8.5MY D3 wheel fits any D3, the D4 buttons are not transferable as the D4 uses a LIN rather than a resistive ladder to communicate with the rest of the vehicle. The airbag and the steering column is the same, it's just the fitting of the switch packs that may be the problem

Any news on the heated option for the 09my ? Isn't it !  21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Mmmm, interesting, just e-mailed nick regarding a new steering wheel, is it going to be useable across all models and years??? Would rather have a heated one

Some on there cheaper than that, mine was £100 for the soft nappa (no exchange) but I had to transfer my core (airbag, switches etc..

(could always opt for a pair of heated gloves as used by the motorbike fraternity  ) Never get mad - get even !!
