Just an observation:
Posted a couple of weeks back about mpg of new auto (compared with older manual), and whilst around town stuff still seems low (well to me), motorway stuff looks better than the manual. Just cleared 9k miles on the clock (so starting to loosen a bit), on tuesday stuffed an ITG airfilter in, first impressions are slightly better pickup when touching the throttle, and on the run up to Manchester from Brum this morning, sat at mid 70's (with 50 through roadworks), was showing 34.3mpg. I'll go with that (in fact anything 30plus will do).
