| Lower Tailgate Replacement - How To |

Does anyone know how to remove the lower tailgate? It looks fairly straight forward. The only issue could be the electrical connection. Does anyone know if there is a plug in there somewhere where you can split the loom? Had a quick look but doesn't look like it. And then how do you re fit a new second hand one? Reason is a good used one is cheaper than a repair on the current one that was attacked by a wheelie bin!
Anyone done this, or is there a "how to" guide anywhere.
