Clutch judder

Hi am getting clutch judder when taking off with heavy load or towing.
any thoughts?

It's not the clutch, it's the dual mass flywheel which is probably a bit worn and there is some play in it which is showing up when towing heavy loads. Big deal, it might go on for ages before needing replacing. There's only one manufacturer of these flywheels; LUK, I have one in my A6 and It has been juddering when cold for the last 35k and is the same as it always was. Our Disco has never had a problem, even at 110 k so I can't talk from experience with that.

Ah, good old dual mass flywheels... My last car had one of them, until a 6" crack appeared!

Johnboy,
It is recommended by LR that you start off in low range in certain comditions, switching to high range on the move. Check your manual.
