XS - CD Player
Am I right, my XS Disco 4 has only a single CD player? How can this be justified for the price increase from the Disco 3 SE?

That's correct. But with aux in, usb and iPod support, it's not that much of a limitation... single CD with perhaps 120 MP3s, or 4000+ MP3s on an iPod?

Buy a USB key - they cost buttons these day.
Then all you need to do is rip your cds into folders using windows media player or similar and copy them onto the key. These appear on the touch screen just as they if they were standalone albums.
I've got an iPod but tried this out yesterday and it worked a treat. Even at a high bit rate of 320KBPS you'll get 15-20 albums on a 2GB key which will cost you about £5. Much better than having discs and disc boxes in the car.
You can get a 16GB USB key for less then £20 from Play/Amazon etc and you'll get stacks of music on that.

That would presumably be a D3 not a D4 then I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

No - but was told the XS was the closest spec to my Disco 3 SE - expected a few of the now standard features for the extra £ - but its my fault!

Doesn't the D4 come with a key then, I thought was an essential item.
So if you do get a USB key, where do you stick it in to - I presume that if the D4 doesn't come with a key then there won't be an ignition switch to put a key into.
I'm either confused or missing something important. Coffeecup

Yup
"USB key" = "pen drive" = "USB memory stick" = removable data storage device. Copy music files from your computer to this, stick it in the USB slot in the inside of the cubby box, and away you go, hundreds of albums at your finger tips (literally, as it's a touch screen)
