Yep - I've had this.

In my case the driver's side door switch needed replacing - I had it done under warranty.

However, it was possible to make a temporary cure by spraying liberal amounts of WD40 into the switch.

Door Open Alert

I've got this same problem. It seems to be intermittent. I had a new lock fitted but the problem is still there. The worry is that the courtesy lights will sometimes come on when it's sitting empty or the alarm goes off. Anyone here got any fixes?

As a temp fix, you can turn the courtesy lights off.
Press and hold the middle light button for approx 3 secs
to turn them back on just repeat the process

Sea Raider - thanks for that. That certainly puts my mind at rest about flattened batteries. Now I need to find a way of disabling the burglar alarm!! Really, I'd like to find a permanent solution. I thought a new door lock would do it but no!
