Ebay have alot of this come up with NO fitting kits, strange really as many leave the kits in when they remove, and its only 4 permanent fixings
If you find an ebay one, without kit, thats ok if its cheap enough, the fitting kit is sold seperately from "The Large One" at Yeovil Landrover for approx £50, or the whole guard n kit is approx £170
Many options, but just thought I would give you another part to your question , just received a Fitting Kit from Nick

Thanks for that. that's not a bad idea. i had heard that a new one's about £170, which is quite a lot to keep the dog in his place.
cheers

I have just got the hatchbag - i had one in my Disco 2 which kept the boot as good as new despite kids and a dog over 5 years of ownership - very happy with it. Have just ordered the same for the D3.
How much was the Britpart version? i hadn't thought of that.
cheers

Depends on how much you value your rear seats TBH, my D3 is up for sale, and transporting my Pup at the same time, anymore damage he causes will depreciate the D3 beyond the price of a dog guard

Paid £89 for the britpart one, and the hatchbag fixes to it and protects the rear seats from my teething labrador! 2014 D4 XS

Half height mate. Carry long loads (and a dog) quite often (but not together) so didn't want to fanny around taking the guard out when I can just drop the seats and slide things under it. 2014 D4 XS

that's interesting - I've had a look at some web pictures but can't see how the i/2 height one attaches. can all the seats be lowered when it's in place?

Half height fixes on the pillars with adjustable feet, slots in behind the load cover mounts and then has tie rods that hook on to the loadspace anchors in the boot space. Seems solid enough and doesn't rattle either.
I am tempted to cut slits in my hatchbag so that I can still get to the load anchors though, as I can't at the minute.
edit: all the seats can be lowered with it in, although obviously you cant use the rear 2 when it's fitted. 2014 D4 XS

that sounds good. I have the same problem re a dog and long loads so the half height might be the best bet. glad to hear it's stable and solid. My hatchbag has idependent seats so i can lower each seat cheers John - sorry just read your post again - i realised that you mean the struts for the dog guard need to go through the hatchbag hence the holes

Hats off to TLO
